Shine, Celebrate, and Claim Your Power in 2026

Its Time To Choose
Yourself & Rise

This season — while the world glows with lights, music, and celebration — we want to honor a different kind of brightness:

From Mrs. Universe Mexico to Dr. Karen Díaz Meaike — this is your invitation to choose yourself and rise.

Celebrating Latinas’ strength and resilience

Although in 2025 Latinas face injusticia, discrimination, and barriers — even on global stages — we rise and win. Mrs. Universe Mexico’s victory is the perfect example of victory in the face of oppression, more than a crown; it is a symbol of nuestra cultura, resilience, and power.

Confidently Choose Yourself in 2026

Close your eyes and picture your best friend. How do you cheer her on? Forgive her? Celebrate her victories?

Now open your eyes. That best friend is you.

This year, make your resolution simple and revolutionary:

“2026 is the year that I celebrate myself, forgive myself, listen to myself and FULLY show up for myself as mi mejor amiga.” — Say It Now With Your Chest.

As Latinas in today’s society, our greatest work—our mejor propósito—is to reconnect with our intuition, our roots, our passion, and the comforting traditions that define us. No matter how some may try to express their hatred—by separating children from safety or erasing our people—our joy and resilience continue to shine through our food, our music, and the warmth of our communities.

This truth is clear when even those who wish to diminish us celebrate their own milestones surrounded by the very comfort we create: vibrant food, joyous music, and a welcoming atmosphere. Case in point: Kristi Noem celebrated her birthday at a Mexican restaurant, enveloped in the flavors and spirit of our culture.

Dr. Karen Díaz Meaike reminds us:

“Becoming the woman you once looked for is a courageous act — and it starts with choosing yourself.”

Fátima Bosch, Mrs. Universe Mexico:

“I had to come out strong to represent all the women who believed in me and all the people who gave their love and support.”

Here at Inspirame Latina, we are that community of love and support to represent you and your universe. We want to inspire you everyday to be empowered in your truth. At Inspirame Latina, we believe that 2026 is your year to stand ten toes down in your universe,

to choose yourself boldly,
to grow with love,
and to walk with a community that refuses to let you dim.

Brighter. Bolder. Together. Always.

Roots & Resistance

Adelita’s Story: Ten Toes Down Even through The Fire

In a moment that captured the true spirit of Latina leadership, Arizona Representative Adelita Grijalva found herself standing ten toes down for her community — not in a meeting room, not behind a podium, but in the middle of a Tucson street during an ICE raid.

Neighbors were panicking.
Mothers were crying.
Children were hiding behind cars and fences.

So Adelita did what so many Latinas have done for generations:

She stepped forward — not away.

She approached to calm the chaos, record what was happening, and protect the families who feared they might be separated in an instant.

And in that moment, as officers pepper-sprayed the crowd, she was hit too.

Her eyes burned.
Her voice strained.
Her breath wavered.

But her courage did not.

Even through the sting and the struggle, Adelita kept telling people to stay together, stay safe, and keep supporting one another. She didn’t retreat. She didn’t run. She didn’t let fear decide the moment.

She chose her community — again and again.

And that is what Brighter & Bolder Together really looks like:

When fear rises, we rise higher. When systems break, we become the backbone.

When chaos spreads, we become the calm.

When someone tries to dim our light, we shine harder.

Adelita’s moment isn’t just an incident —
it’s a mirror of who Latinas have always been.

Women who protect even when we’re the ones getting hit.
Women who speak up even while our voices burn.
Women who lead with corazón, comunidad, and conviction.
Women who stand ten toes down — for each other.

This December, as we claim our power and step into a brighter 2026, Adelita reminds us that:

Leadership isn’t a title — it’s a willingness to show up.
And Latinas show up with fire in our spirit and love in our hands.

Align & Receive: Manifesting Your 2026

We all want to manifest our dreams, yet very few of us take the steps to fully align ourselves with them. It’s not about working harder—it’s about taking aligned actions that move us toward what we truly want, while staying in tune with our hearts, values, and energía.

“The goals you set for 2026 are not only achievable, they are deeply aligned with your purpose.”

Step 1: Reflect on Your Year

Take a few quiet minutes and jot down thoughts about 2025:

  • Were was I this time last year?
  • How did I grow, shift, or surprise myself?
  • What challenges did I overcome?
  • What lessons am I truly grateful for?

“Progress = Happiness”

Step 2: Gratitude & Empowerment

Now, focus on all the blessings in your life. Write down 5 things you are deeply grateful for—people, experiences, lessons, or even moments of growth.

Recognize your own strengths and contributions: your resilience, generosity, creativity, and love. Let this gratitude fill you and create a strong foundation for your goals.

“What is mine will never pass me by.”

Step 3: Vision For 2026

Write your vision in one inspiring paragraph.

Then, list 3–5 goals that feel exciting, achievable, and aligned with your vision.

Close by taking a deep breath and saying softly:

“I step into 2026 aligned, grateful, and open to receiving. My light shines brightly, and my journey continues with purpose.”

Tip: Make this ritual a habit—monthly or weekly check-ins help you stay aligned, grounded, and connected to your vision.

“Levántate con tu gente. Empodera tu comunidad. Haz tu voz valer.”

— You never know who needs your story to find their voice!
