The biggest barriers to change are people’s attitudes and subconscious biases. Lack of knowledge, exposure, and basic cultural understanding must be addressed to create real opportunities for Latinas to thrive. Start learning today—transform knowledge into action.
Visibility
Despite being one of the fastest-growing demographics in the U.S., Latinas remain significantly underrepresented in leadership, media, and decision-making roles.
Latinas make up 18.7% of the U.S. population, yet they hold only:
- 3.1% of lead roles in television.
- 1.5% of showrunner roles.
- 1.3% of director roles.

• Latinas represent approximately 18% of all female entrepreneurs, with over 1.5 million Latina-owned businesses.
• They own about 30% of all Latinx businesses that employ others, surpassing the proportion of white women who own businesses.
Yet, many Latinas feel invisible. We’re here to change that.
The Challenges We Face
During our summit on March 22, 2024, we asked attendees if they ever feel like they can’t be themselves and what they do when they don’t feel like they belong.
The answers were staggering:
• Over 70% of Latinas feel unworthy.
• Nearly 80% feel the need to hide, conform, or act out to gain attention.
This heartbreaking reality highlights the struggles Latinas face in showcasing their incredible talents, being their authentic selves, and feeling safe from rejection.
A Path to Healing and Transformation
The good news? Latinas are ready for lasting change.
• 70.7% are starting to work on self-care.
• 19.5% are learning new ways to grow.
• 9.8% are following a spiritual path to embrace their authentic selves.
